Category Management
In this section, you can add your top categories and sub categories. You need to do this before you can start listing products. Add your top categories first. All fields marked with a red * are mandatory.
Category picture
- Browse your PC for a picture which best reflects your category name. The picture will automatically be uploaded when you save this page.
Category name
Meta Keywords
- Fill this in with words or phrases to best describe this category. If you choose individual words make sure you separate them with commas, if you choose phrases, separate the phrases with commas.
Meta Description
- Fill this in with a more comprehensive description of the category name. You can include any words which you think potential buyers may use to search google for your product.
Is this a Top Category?
- You must select yes or no. Select yes for a top category and no for a sub category.
Place inside another
- You don't have to complete this section if you are generating a top category. If you are generating a sub category, use this drop down box to choose the top category that your new sub category belongs in.
Description
- This is the category description that your customers will see when they click on the category button. It appears just above the sub category photographs if it is a top category description. If this is a sub category description, it will appear at the top, above the products in the category.
Category order
- You can choose the order in which your categories will appear on your home page by inserting a number in this box. i.e., category number 1 will be at the top, category number 10 will be at the bottom.
